As the golden rays of the summer bathed the city of Manchester, members and guests of K-Club gathered for a summer social and wine tasting. The setting couldn't have been more perfect—a vibrant alfresco venue known as Beeswing Wine Bar & Kitchen, nestled in the heart of the city's canal side neighbourhood, part of the visionary Kampus inner-city development masterminded by Tim Heatley, the renowned founder of Capital & Centric and previous K-Club speaker.
A Wine Tasting Extravaganza with Sophia Luckett
Our guests were in for a treat as they embarked on a journey guided by Sophia Luckett, a wine tasting expert and the founder of 'The Drink Talking' events. Sophia captivated the attendees with her wealth of knowledge and passion for wines, leading them through a selection that spanned the diverse regions of France to the treasures of the New World. The presentation was not only informative but also engaging, keeping everyone hooked with fascinating insights into each wine's characteristics and origin. Needless to say, the wines themselves were nothing short of exquisite, leaving taste buds tingling with pleasure.
Perfect Pairings
To complement the fantastic wine selection, we were served a variety of Pinchos — a range of traditional small delicacies originating from northern Spain, renowned for their popularity in the Basque country. The fusion of flavours, meticulously crafted to harmonise with the wines, offered an exceptional culinary experience that enhanced the overall enjoyment of the event.
