Enjoying the Mediterranean in March!

A Taste of the Med in Manchester for K-Club guests.

We certainly felt like we’d found our own little spot of Greece when we held our sold-out lunch for over 30 members and guests at newly opened Fenix Restaurant in the Goods Yard area of Manchester.

On entering the venue, the Mediterranean vibe quickly transported us away to the sunshine, as the setting and scents of Greece filled the private bar area for drinks.

Upstairs in a private corner of the venue adjacent to the old Granada Studios building, we were treated to the most delicious food served in waves. We were served tzatziki and flatbreads along with tasty chicken, lamb meatballs, calamari and beef, plus delightful vegetarian and vegan options. It was a struggle to find room for the equally good dessert!

The tradition of a Greek meze and shared meal encourages connection and conversation, turning dining into a social experience, something we always aim to create at our events. New guests at this lunch event were introduced and seated with regular attendees and of course made to feel as welcome as ever. Plenty of conversations were had on padel, prison, football, investments, LPAs, travel, kids, retirement, music, and more, and new friendships were forged over the wonderful lunch.
