About the event
Join us for our Summer Social evening taking in some of Manchester's finest architecture, followed by dinner overlooking King Street.
As we have limited spaces for the tour, you may join us from 4.15pm for the tour, dinner & drinks, or from 6pm for dinner & drinks only (see ticket options below).
Our Guides for the tour are;
Martyn Markland; a long-standing K-Club Member with a passion for historic buildings, who will guide us around the publicly accessible areas of the Library. He has led a variety of unofficial tours of the Library as well as other famous local landmarks.
John Hodgson; Associate Director (curatorial practices) at the University of Manchester. John leads the team at the Rylands and will take us on an exclusive ‘behind the scenes’ tour of the building, sharing his extensive knowledge on the building.

NON-MEMBER TICKET: From 4.15pm. Includes a tour of the Library, a welcome drink, and 3-course meal with a glass of wine. Additional drinks will be available to purchase from the bar during the evening. MEMBERS: No purchase required - please email Amanda.Manson@k-club.co.uk to secure your place.
