EXCLUSIVE LUNCH EVENT: Andy Burnham at Fountain House

Join us for lunch at Fountain House in the heart of Manchester for a business update from the Mayor of our City.

Andy Burnham was first elected as Mayor of Greater Manchester in May 2017 and was re-elected for a second term in May 2021.

Responsible for shaping the future of Greater Manchester, Andy’s priorities include building a London-style integrated transport system, ending rough sleeping, transforming Greater Manchester into one of the greenest city regions in Europe and making Greater Manchester a great place to grow up, get on, and grow old.

Before being elected Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy was MP for Leigh from 2001. In government, Andy has held Ministerial positions at the Home Office, Department of Health and the Treasury. In 2008 he became Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, before returning to Health as Secretary of State in 2009.

In opposition, Andy has served as Shadow Education Secretary, Shadow Health Secretary and Shadow Home Secretary.

Andy lives in Leigh, Greater Manchester, with his wife and three children. 

Event Details

This event will be held in the Memorial Hall upstairs at The Fountain House. This area has its own entrance, restroom/cloakroom, and bar. We request that guests arrive for 12noon, to enjoy a welcome drink and be seated for lunch promptly at 12.15pm.

Guests will enjoy a 2-course lunch with a glass of wine, and have the opportunity to connect with other entrepreneurs and business people from the region. Additional drinks may be purchased from the bar during and after the meal.

Vegan/vegetarian options will be available. Please advise amanda.manson@k-club.co.uk if you have any special dietary requirements when booking your ticket. Menus will be sent to you upon booking your place.

Refunds are not permitted after 12noon on Wednesday 10th January, however you may transfer your ticket & food choices to someone else instead. Please advise us if this is the case.
